• An Opaque nail polish color for the base
• A Contrasting nail polish color to the base, for top the design coat
• A Clear Top Coat

• A Small Piece of Clear Tape

*Note: After you base coat dries, follow the same instructions for making polka dots, as indicated in number 4. To get a perfectly straight line of dots along the top of the nail, use the clear tape to cover everything but the nail tip, then apply dots along the remaining exposed nail. Try to use the line of the tape to guide your dot placement, and once you have fit desired amount of dots (max is usually around 4 dots on average) carefully remove the tape.
