7 DIY Skin Tricks and Treats!
Halloween is right around the corner, officially kicking off the holiday party circuit, and with all the upcoming costume parties, Thanksgiving feasts, Christmas celebrations, and New Years Eve carousing, tis the season for festive evenings of entertainment, cocktails, and fun. Always wanting to dress to impress, you probably plan to up the ante on your regular, everyday makeup, and try something that is slightly more dramatic. We all know as Miss Jessie’s fans, it is important to always look your posh best, but hopping between all these seasonal social soirees, coupled with the drastic drop in temperatures, can do a number on a girl’s complexion. However, you don’t have to deny your adventurous urge to go outside the box with eccentric makeup styles, just because you are afraid of a couple breakouts. The key is to take incredible care of your skin in between parties, so when the time comes to bust out the glitter and false lashes, you always have an even, flawless foundation.
I love splurging on fancy, trendy, decadent skin focused toiletries, with brand names so ritzy I have to use a European accent to properly pronounce them, however that is not always a practical possibility, with my budget. I’ve had to find other creative means to keep my skin fresh and happy, and thanks to the magic of Pinterest, I was able to find a whole slew of excellent skincare DIY recipes. Using all natural ingredients I could find in my kitchen, I was able to make an entire skincare regime. I love them all so much; I’ve even started putting them in cute little jars to give as Christmas gifts to friends. Give them a try and tell us what you think!

I know it’s not really a recipe, but it’s perhaps the most significant skincare beauty tip there is. Don’t forget to always drink lots and lots of water! It is common misconception that once the warm weather subsides, your body doesn’t require as much effort to stay hydrated, but this couldn’t be more false. It is still possibly to get dehydrated even while there is a chill outside, and the effects of dehydration are always first apparent with your skin’s condition. Follow the 8×8 rule (8 glasses of 8 ounces of water), to maintain that healthy glow!
