Happy Memorial Day! With summer just around the corner, tis the season for amazing concert series and dance parties galore! Warm weather equals musical revolution—it’s a time when everyone’s personal music libraries undergo a vivacious, spring-cleaning makeover, as the continuous addition uptempo jams mirroring the sprightly, sparkling energy that only sunshine can inspire. The Billboard charts are overloaded with all the songs you belt out in the shower or alone in the car, just as loudly as you do middle of the dance floor surrounded by friends. It’s undeniably pop prime time—and hairography is in full swing.
What separates a Hairography tune from your typical pop, RnB, and hip hop song, is that hairography music maintain a certain, special quality that in addition to belting, evokes a shameless amount of hair whipping and flipping… maybe even a little rump shaking too, if the beat is really hot. While our personal hairography skills may never measure up to the likes of pros Beyonce or Shakira, it is certainly fun to practice and pretend.
