Ever since a video of two year old Heaven King performing complex hip hop choreography and keeping up with her and her mother, a professional dancer, surfaced on the internet two years ago, the world has not been able to get enough of this incredibly amazing dance duo. After proud mommy Tianne posted a video of she and then two year old Heaven dancing along to Beyoncé’s End of Time back in 2013, this mother daughter team became an overnight YouTube phenomena.

Fast-forward to 2015, Heaven (now 4 years old) danced along with mom Tianne, to Beyoncé’s 7/11, and this little div-ette’s dance moves have only gotten better with age.

Though this aired on television less than a week ago, the clip has already achieved over a million views on YouTube. It is obvious that Heaven’s mother Tianne is incredibly passionate about dance, and her supreme skill level and the intensity of her moves reflects years of practice and dedication to her craft. However, Tianne’s personal talent for dance is eclipsed by her skills as a mommy and dance teacher, as her baby girl Heaven hasn’t even hit double digits and is already a brilliant performer and a force to be reckoned with. Heaven’s ability to absorb, pick up, conceptualize, and recall her mother’s quick and complicated choreography, definitely qualifies as prodigy status, as most adults would probably struggle to mirror and effectively master Tianne’s series of challenging hip hop maneuvers. I know if I even attempted to try any of those steps, I would twist, sprain, or bust something and definitely end up in the ER!

Heaven and her mother Tianne are living proof that the greatest creative collaborations can start right at home, with the family. This kind of partnership is what allowed for the Miss Jessie’s brand to evolve to where it is today, and I have no doubt that the future is beyond bright for this up and coming performance sensation. I would be willing to bet anything that years from now, if Blue Ivy wanted to follow in her mother’s professional footsteps, beginning with performing in a girl group similar to Destiny’s Child, I’m sure Beyoncé’s first recommendation for the group would be the infamous Heaven King. Heaven is living proof that life’s greatest gifts really do come in the tiniest of packages, and I cannot wait to see how her talent progresses as her star rises!
