On Sunday night, fashionistas rejoiced around the world at the latest news that H&M’s next designer collaboration will be with the Parisian house of Balmain. During the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards, creative director of Balmain, Oliver Rousteing, along with his friends Kendall Jenner and Jordan Dunn, debuted the first pieces of the Balmain x H&M collection and it has everyone looking forward to more of what’s to come. From the looks of it, you can expect to see the designer’s love for embellishment—the white statement beading is a Balmain signature—and plenty of tight-fitting party outfits.

According to Rousteing, “I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fueled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it.” So are we, Oliver, so are we.

As you already know H&M is no stranger to high fashion collaborations, having created capsule collections with names like Lavin, Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Maison (Martin) Margiela. As H&M puts it high-fashion doesn’t have to be a matter of price.

If you’re looking forward to this collection, you’ll have to wait until the Fall. The collection will be available starting November 5, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, and will feature clothing and accessories for both women and men. So start setting aside some splurge money now.
